It’s been a great summer for strawberries – and strawberry recipes! We thought we’d cap off strawberry season with a round-up of some of our favorite strawberry recipes.
First up – the most recent addition – is these Strawberry Sandos (Japanese Milk Bread Sandwiches). They’re so easy to make! All it takes is a few slices of sweet bread, sweetened whipped cream, and fresh strawberries.
We’ve also had lots of requests for another recent addition, our Strawberry Pizza with Fontina and Arugula. It’s a tasty savory-sweet pizza that you can eat for a meal or a dessert.
Next we can’t forget to mention one of our most popular recipes – Strawberry Mini-Jitos. They’re a delicious non-alcoholic, kid-friendly drink that kids can help make (there’s muddling involved!).
Strawberry Breakfast and Snack Ideas
If you want a fun snack, we’re especially partial to these Lavender Strawberry Shortbread Cookies because they’re just so darned cute. We made them in a macaron pan to get the little circle shape down, but you can also make them as little thumbprint cookies.
Strawberries play a “starring” role in these Patriotic Puff Pastry Flags. You need strawberries to make the red stripes, after all!
Last but not least, let’s not forget our favorite Strawberry Zucchini Bread. You’ve got to love a bread that helps you use up all of your summer bumper crops in one recipe.
Tasty Strawberry Desserts
If you want a magnificent dessert… or a quick dessert snack variation, check out this Frozen Strawberry Neopolitan Cheesecake:
If you want to break it up into smaller snack-sized bites, you can make these mini frozen strawberry cheesecakes:
Also, this Super-Easy Strawberry Tart is one of our favorites. It’s incredibly simple to make even though it looks like it took a lot of effort. It’s just strawberries, strawberry jam, butter and sugar, and filo dough.
If you like that one, we also think you’re going to love this Easy-As-Pie Strawberry Pie. It’s so easy and all it takes are a few ingredients that are probably already in your cupboard and refrigerator.
Let us know if you’ve tried any of the recipes… and if you like this collection, pin it!
