Gluten-Free Burgers

3 slices gluten-free bread

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1 T. milk

1 small onion, grated or finely chopped

1 egg

Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat grill. In a food processor, process the slices of bread to make bread crumbs. Place bread crumbs in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined. Form meat into six patties. Grill on medium-high heat for approximately 5 minutes on each side, or until meat reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees. Serve on gluten-free buns. Serves 6.
