Fresh Jackfruit Salsa

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fresh jackfruit pods
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, cored and seeded
  • 1 large sweet red pepper, cored and seeded
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves (approximately a large handful)
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Dash hot sauce (or more to taste)

Instructions

  1. Place the jackfruit, jalapeno peppers, red pepper, and garlic in a food processor and pulse just until finely chopped. Pour items into a mixing bowl; add cilantro, lime juice, salt, and hot sauce. Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve immediately or store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
