Ingredients
10ouncesprepared hummus
2large beetschopped, and steamed
2 15.5ouncecans garbanzo beansdrained
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Scoop the hummus and beets into a food processor. Process until smooth (should be evenly bright pink). Add in one can of prepared and drained garbanzo beans and continue processing until well blended. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Scoop the hummus into a meat grinder, in large scoops alternating with remaining garbanzo beans. Send the hummus through the grinder, collecting it on a plate or tray as it comes through the grinder. Serve immediately with chips or pita bread; or chill until ready to serve.
