Cranberry Sauce

Your basic cranberry sauce recipe, adapted from Ocean Spray

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 oz whole cranberries fresh or frozen


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil. Add cranberries, return to a boil, and boil gently for ten minutes, stirring occasionally. 

  2. Remove cranberry mixture from heat. Pour mixture through a food mill and sieve so that the skins and large seeds are removed. Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
