Product of the Week: Noosa Yogurt

Every now and then we come across a great new food or product that we have started incorporating into our routines, and this week, our current favorite is the Australian-by-way-of-Colorado Noosa Yoghurt (or yogurt as us non-Aussies call it.)

This creamy yogurt is inspired by Greek-style yogurt, handcrafted in Colorado with an Aussie flair.  The yogurt is made on-site at the Morning Fresh Dairy in Bellevue, CO, less than 50 meters away from where the cows are milked. The end result is an incredibly rich, creamy, tangy-sweet yogurt that’s just as easy for kids to love as adults.

How do we enjoy our Noosa? Here’s our Top Ten list of  (sweet) yogurt snack ideas:

1) Topped with granola

2) Topped with fresh fruit

3) Topped with dried fruit

4) Layered in a parfait

5) Frozen into popsicles

6) Mixed with nuts or sunflower seeds

7) Served on a pancake

8) Served as a dip with graham crackers or pretzels

9) Tossed with mixed fruit to make a fruit salad

10) Smoothies!

Noosa is available in eight flavors: Honey, Blueberry, Mango, Raspberry, Strawberry Rhubarb, Peach, Passion Fruit, and Lemon. Sold in 8- and 16-ounce tubs, it can be found at grocery, natural, and specialty retailers nationwide including Target, Super Target, Kroger, SuperValu banners, Meijer and The Fresh Market.
