Snackadium for the Super Bowl

What is a snackadium? A snack stadium, of course! It’s when you figure out some way to create a stadium replica out of cardboard and fill it with all of your favorite game day snacks. We just made ours for the Super Bowl, so we thought we’d share.

In this case, we started with two large pieces of poster board as a base, plus a large foil pan. Then we created a cardboard frame around the pan, and then built angled sides upward around the pan. We closed it off with a long piece of cardboard wrapped around the outside (and then covered in black striped paper) to make the exterior of the stadium (oh, and we added some toothpick flags too).

Next we created side rails with cardboard pieces covered with black-and-white striped paper, and we made exterior flags with straws.

Finally, we filled it up with a variety of chips (including kale chips from Simply 7, because kale), and we filled the foil pan with guacamole, salsa, and sour cream dip (with cardboard dividers). What do you think? Go team!
